Computer Setup - 2.8c / 1GB PC3200 / 10KRpm U320 SCSI HDD / 9800Pro / Intel i865pe board / good cooling / good ps
when playing either bf1942 or bf:v and any mod from either, sometimes i will get a bounce or stutter. i feel i have enough power to play bf1942 @ 1280x1024x32 and bf:v @ 1024x768x32 with high settings. when i have the fps showing it is always between 70-100fps, so why do i get this occasional severe drop when playing? this happens in single player, lan and also online and is not when there is a lot going on in the game, i could just be flying over the desert and it will do this. if i remember correctly my 3dmark02 scores were ~17000+ and my 3dmark03 scores were ~7000 with the normal default settings of 1024x768x32.
