Weird Funky Problem

I'm running win2k sp2, i leave my computer on doing nothing when i go to class and when i get back there's a stop error on the screen. it says UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP so the i hit the reset button and my computer won't boot at all. i unplug everything from it, let it sit for a while plug everything but the network cable in and the computer boots fine. i restart, plug in the cable and it won't boot again. so then i remove everything and put things in one thing at a time. now, as far as i can tell, everything works fine. any ideas?
 
this is a wierd problem... have you considered that it may be heat related. i know sometimes when my room and my computer get hot my computer crashes and i have to let it sit for a while and let it cool off before it will boot again. i am overclocking though.
