Weird error message...

Error 023: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection.

I'm on a wireless 802.11g network with my Linksys WRT54G router. I have another computer on the network, and there are 2 printers connected to this computer that I am sharing. I am also sharing the C: partition on this computer and the C: and D: partitions on my other computer. All 3 are mapped as network drives. What could be causing the problem?

I apologize for the "form letter" troubleshooting questions, but we really do need a lot more information before we can help you.

Do you only get the error on one computer?
If it happens on all computers, do you get the same error when you connect a PC directly to your cable/DSL modem?
Have you cycled power on everything? (Modem, router, switch/hub if you have one, and all PCs)?
Do you get the same problem if you use a wired connection instead of wireless?
What EXACTLY are you trying to do when you get the error message?
When did it start happening?
What has changed recently? (Even if you don't think it relates to the problem.)
What version of Windows are you running (including Service Pack number)?
When was the last time you ran a Windows Update?
Does normal Web browsing work properly?
Do you have Anti-Virus and Spyware removal software installed? (probably not relevant but I have to ask 😉)
When was the last time you ran full scans of your system?
