First of all, let me provide the recipe that lead up to this weird dream. 2 scoops of peanut butter, diet 7 up, orange juice, and ny deli style pretzels. I also read some of "The Stand" before I went to sleep. Anyways, here is a weird dream, it's broken up into 3 separate ones because they seem to make no sense at all.
1.) I'm working with an old professor on some C++ project and I can't compile it on the UNIX terminal I'm working on. Not because I don't know how, but because the interface is so fscked up that I can't do it. It's in some crazy interface that doesn't even make sense. All I remember was red blue and green circles on the screen. When you tried to log in, or click on the screen, it would super magnify itself so that the rest of the screen wasn't visible. It was VERY irritating.. I have no idea where this came from.
2.) I've moved out of my house and I'm looking for an apartment. When I find one, I move in and I have one roomate (who I don't see). I go into this downstairs area which is supposedly a basement, and it's HUGE. So huge in fact it doesn't make sense, because it's outside. It's like a fair, but it has a swimming pool, pool tables, cool games, and there are lots of people. There is booze everywhere and it's like a gigantic summer party with all the accessories. I'm thinking this is pretty cool so I start talking to some people, and have a good time. Apparently there are more of these "parks" as I find out from a lady there. The method of getting from one park to another is via a "chair lift" type mechanism that is set over very sharp rocks. I'm very careful about this, let a few chairs go by and then finally sit on one. I close my eyes, and when I get to the top, it drops really fast (like the pitfall) and then slows down. I'm at another park, my mom is there, and some other old ladies. I go to the "upstairs" part of this park and get lost trying to find my way back to my apartment.
3.) I'm walking down the street and see some people knocking down a big sign (with lights on it). When it falls it makes this huge explosion and I go "wow cool", because it really was cool. Some huge guy walks up to me and acts like he is going to try to fight me, apparently thinking I was making fun of him. I explain I wasn't, and it turns out this is Shaquille O' Neal's kid (he's huge!). Shaq comes out of the house, and it turns out we're in a year before he plays basketball, or knows about his skill. I have all the knowledge I have in 2005, and I basically tell him his future, blah blah. We turn out being pretty good friends. The dreams end there when the alarm goes off..
