Weird dreams thread

I had the oddest dream last night. Three of my teeth fell out. They were rotten. Weird, I just got my teeth cleaned last week and they were just fine.

When I don't eat red meat for a bit, I start having dreams about chasing down animals like deer, moose, etc. in the woods, tackling them, and tearing a huge chunk of flesh out of their neck with my teeth and nails. I then proceed to tear strips of steaming raw animal flesh from the body and consume them.

I've had the teeth falling out dreams several times. I talked to some people that read into dream interpretation. The accepted interpretation of that dream means changes coming. Nice and vague, eh?

Or it might mean that the Tommyknockers are coming.

Ok, well I had a dream I was back in the old west and I gun'd down a lot of people, but they were all bad guys!....should I even ask what that dream was about?

This is going to sound really weird, but any of you ever had a deja vu'. You know, you're just having a normal day and then out of nowhere, bam, things which are happening around you are things you've seen before in a dream. I dont believe in things I cant find proof for, like ghosts, gods, palm reading, astrology, etc, so I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this.

Yes, deja vu dreams are very common. Most people experience them. What's really strange is when you have deja vu about deja vu.

I HATE days like that. Occasionally, I'll have a really boring dream, where I did ordinary things like wash dishes, buy groceries, take a shower, vacuum, and I'll have deja vu all damn day long. I feel like I'm dreaming and all disoriented.

So if a deja vu exists, then does 'fate' exist too? Does that mean we have no control over our future.?

I was talking to a friend yesterday and he was telling me about reducing everything to math. He started of by assuming that fate was, say a number 'c', and then proposed that 'c' was a sum of many variables n1,n2,n3 etc. He then told me that you could see this relationship in different views, if c was a constant, and another case where c was a variable.

This got me wondering, if a deja vu exists then so must fate. And if fate exists then 'c' is a variable. And the whole theory of "no matter what you do, the end is always the same" can be explained by the variables being connected in some strange way that however you change some of them ( assuming you cannot change all of them all the time ) some other change to keep their sum the same.

I usually dont make much sense, and in my better days, any. So good luck going through it.

Late last night and the night before,
Tommyknockers, Tommyknockers,
knocking at the door.

I want to go out, don't know if I can,
'cause I'm so afraid
of the Tommyknocker man.

😛

Yeah, I have weird dreams almost every night. I tend to remember about 15-25 % of the dream later in the day, sometimes more.

For instance, last night I dreamed that all my friends were going on a cruise in the middle of the week. I wanted to go, but was worried about missing classes and work. I went anyway but was not having a good time cause I knew I would have to make up all that class work I missed. I went to a bicycle shop (which was on the ship) and the chick running it ended up being one of my classmates sisters. I tried hitting on her but she was married. Anyways, later on I found out some dude was trying to kill me that looked like arnold schartznagger and he was on the ship. I hid under someones bed while the were having sex,and it was a real tight squeeze. Somehow he found me under the bed and dragged me out. Thats as far as I remember.

I thought deja vu meant the matrix had changed something? 😉
With me, deja vu usually happens in such a way that I'm aware of having already been in a situation that I'm currently in (except in a dream), and that some choice I made resulted in a specific outcome (which I can never remember, but usually just feels "bad"). This leads me to act a certain way to avoid the bad outcome.

I dreamed last night that I owned a MLB team. I payed them with bubble gum....one piece per game. It was a bad dream because I was all out of bubble gum and I only had a few minutes before they were supposed to play their next game. I ran around town looking for bubble gum, but eventually had to field a team of just 8 players.

heh
