I have a S370 Anaheim-3 mobo from an emachines that I use as a server. It was originally a celeron 1Ghz FCPGA. This cpu was swapped out by my bro for a 633 celeron, then he gave me this system. I decided to sell the 633 and added a PPGA celeron 433 just to keep the system up and going. I later decided that this was too slow and got a Celeron 766 but this is where the troubles began. The system will BSOD on boot no matter what with the 766, but with the 433 it runs fine, and it ran the 633 and 1Ghz perfect so I know it runs FCPGA chips fine. Any ideas?

I think I'm gonna order a better one than the stock intel and see what happens with that.

Checked and rechecked the heatsink and even went as far as buying a new one to be certain. System still crashes as XP tries to load. It says shutting down system to save from further damage. If I put the 433 back in, it boots fine. I know this board supports FC-PGA chips as high as 1GHz since that's what it originally had. Maybe this is just a bad CPU?

no other ideas? I reviewed the bios and there are no settings for multi, FSB or voltage that I can find that are changeable.
