My machine boots fine. Everything shows up - including my DVD Rom and CD-RW drives - both IDE Both on IDE1 of my KK266-R. They look fine but when I put any ANY CD in either one it doesn't show up - I click on the drive and it says insert disk in drive but never shows up. BUT if I put the a Disk in the DVD-Rom and logout or restart with the disk in it - it will work and I can take the disk out and put another in no problem - this doesn't work on my CD-RW. My adaptec CD-Creator software picks up both drives but not any Disk in them either.
