I recently got a new 16x acer burner, and have been having some weird Physical CD-R issues.
The media I am testing on is Fujifim 80 min CD's. On my old 4x burner, when you look at the back after a burn, you can clearly tell that it was burned, because there is a definate color change.
Now though, when I burn the same 80, I get that signature color change for only about 1" from the center of the CD. The rest of the CD looks like it wasn't burned at all, even though the data is still there. What is causing this, and will these CD's eventuially go bad? I've never heard of something like this happening before. If you realy want to see pictures, i'll see if I can get someone /w a digital camera to take a shot.
