I'm running a p4 506 2.66GHz at 3.0GHz right now.
I'm testing the overclock right now with S&M but I'm seeing something weird right now. In S&M it says the CPU load is 100% but then in task manager & also throttlewatch, the CPU usage keeps going back an forth between 50% and 100% like every second and consistently. Oh and the CPU voltage also does the same dance between 1.18 and 1.23v.
Throttlewatch doesn't show any throttling but it says Thermal Management 2 in throttlewatch. Does my 506 support TM2?
The load temperature doesn't go above 60degrees and this is in a shuttle XPC case.
Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?
