I have a 900mhz thunderbird and a 700mhz duron. I put the 900 in it and it boots fine. Put the 700mhz and the monitor wont come on. I checked all the connections and its all good. Just wont boot with the 700mhz duron. What can I do? I need answers tonight~!~!
 
Its not a dead duron. I took the first duron I bought back to the manufacturer and he gave me another 1. I even watch him put a system together and boot it up. He even took the 1 I just gave him back and booted it up. It has to be something with the mobo.
 
I just took a look over at AZZA and there is a bios for your board dated Feb 19,2001, do you have it? Doesn't say what it does but it may help.
