Weird appearance with Chromium

Today I just downloaded the latest chrome-win.zip for Windows exe from Chromium's appspot site, wiped the old Chromium folder from AppData, opened it like usual and went to extensions to install the extensions I want to use and saw "Trustworthy", it had me concerned since I am aware of the Trustworthy toolbar malware and searched through regedit with no trace.

I also use Chrome which doesn't have the extension, so was it packaged with the .exe I downloaded?

So what the hell is this?

I would try Adwcleaner (this is the dev's site, only the user agreement is in French, the app itself is in English). One of my go-to removal tools for toolbars that even Malwarebytes sometimes misses.

No idea there.

I guess if it is malware, you can use my typical gambit of scans: malwarebytes, eset online, tss.
If its really bad: combofix, malwarebytes, eset, tss.

Typically those will work vs most things Ive come acress.

Thanks, I ran it and it didn't really find anything, it just removed a couple empty directories from my drive (one was PriceGong?).

I think I'll write it off as someone compiled that build of Chromium with that BS toolbar integrated into it.
