Weird AP - one antenna, 3 channels?

Went out to a spare parts facility and low an behold there is a wireless network.

Using netstumbler it picks up the single AP.

But it picks up channels, 1, 6, 11.

there is a single 12" omni antenna attached and the AP is in a metal eletrical housing.

What gives? Is it really sending on all 3 802.11g channels? I believe the vendor is linksys.

Some routers use two channels to combine 2 54bmps chanels into a logical connection of 108mbps. It is preproietary technology, and its pretty fvcking rude cuz you jack all the bandwidth in your neighborhood.
I havent seen combining 3 independent channels, but it sounds like this sort of thing.

Well this was setup by a turnkey solution company.

It would be nice if I knew the model number. I've just never seen commercial products send on 3 channels. I though you'd need 3 radios to do that.
