My heart goes out to Al - I've been listening to his music and enjoying his TV and concert appearences since I was 8 or 9.
Poor guy. It's gotta be rough losing both parents at the same time.

42 is kind of old, but was Al their first kid, or their last? the mom was 37 when Al was born, my parents were that old when my little sister was born too.
