Weird Abit KG7?

Hi guys...my friend is gonna upgrade his system soon, and originally he wanted to get the Gigabyte 7DXR, but its not out over here yet, so now he's settling for an Abit KG7 instead. According to the Abit website, the KG7 has 4 DIMM slots and an integrated RAID controller by Highpoint, however the ones that are selling here only have 2 DIMM slots and no RAID controller. Is there another version of the KG7 that isn't listed in Abit's website? If so, are there any other differences(performance/quality/stability/etc) in the 2 besides the DIMM slots and RAID controller?
 
The Abit website lists a KG7-lite, which has 2 DDR slots and no raid. That must be what he has. I don't know of any other differences between the RAID and the Lite version.
