had a reference 6950 on the shelf for a while.
was in box in wrap
swapped PSU'd and plugged it in to xfire and get nothing
went to just this card(v1 xfx) and it ramps to 100% fan and I get no display.
going to try and toss it in another machine tonight, but really miffed(and pissed) that it seems to have died.
sure it under warrenty and I can RMA, but I have 2 v1 ref cards and komodo blocks for them and I would hate to RMA it and get back a non v1 card and have a pricey paper weight in the block.
XFX wants me to RMA the 6970 v1 I have due to the miniDP's not working and I am reluctant to do so for the same reason(guess I really lucked out eh?)
any other thoughts? tried it on both bios's settings and both should be stock as I never flashed it
