I wouldn't lend a lot of credence to a reviewer on newegg, especially with no statement of why he thinks it is GDDR4 + 512-bit memory interface. Especially when the page heading, specs, and manufacturer website all list GDDR3 + 256-bit memory interface.

Don't waste your cash on a 2900GT when for $20 more you can have a 256MB HD3850 ($155 shipped no rebates).

more like "someone at newegg got the wrong card"... happened before.

I wouldn't buy a prodcut that says GDDR3 and expect to get GDDR4 just cause one guy got the wrong part.

it could even be that the reviewer is confused ... the 2900Pro was on sale for $145 [after MiR] 3 weeks ago when i got mine from NewEgg

the newegg review system now tells you if a customer has purchased said item from newegg, and it says this guy did.

i get those invites to review all the time ... it is quite possible to review the 'wrong' item :p

my thoughts also 2900PRO
