All my other muscles seem to be doing fine EXCEPT my chest.

I'm thinking of doing chest exercises on Mondays and Thursdays (giving me 3 and 4 days rest in between each session). Is this a bad idea? Am i giving myself enough time to rest and grow?

Edit:

Ok this is how my workout schedule would look like:

Monday:

Chest/Back/Abs

Wednesday:

Legs

Thursday:

Chest/Arms/Abs

You should call my friend at BALCO for some, uh... help with your workouts. You'll be benching 400 lbs in no time at all!

Yes, however, I do all my chest exercises in one day, on Wednesday. Arms on Monday and everything else on Friday.

It depends how your current workouts are. Ideal is probably every 4-7 days, but a couple of times/week isn't likely to hurt you if you're reasonably new to weights.

It's good for some people and it's not good for others.

I didn't see good gains until I went from doing chest twice a week to just once.

Try it and see if it works for you.
