I will be going abroad for a semester(Costa Rica), and there will be no weights or equipment or dumbells. I am interesting in still conitnuing my weight trianing for muscle growth. What exercises would you recommend?

Pullups/pushups come to mind...any other ideas though?

Here's the best option.

Buy one of those inflatable dumbbells where you can add up to 30 or 40 pounds of water. Use those for biceps, triceps, shoulders, and back.

Then there are pushups, pullups, crunches, and dips for more work out.

He's on the right track. You'll just have to do it Rocky IV style (you know, training in Russia). Get a bag of rocks to pull around. Put a huge tree limb on your back and do squats. You can use pretty much anything for bicep curl or tricep extension. Chest/Shoulders will be harder but just toss one of those little kids on your back and do push ups. You can also get on your hands/head up against a wall and then press yourself straight up using your arms to push and the wall to keep you from tipping over, it's a killer shoulder workout just like military pressing your own body weight.

Look into resistance training using resistance bands. These are highly effective and you can use them to work your legs, arms, and torso. Best of all, they are inexpensive. Yuo can find them at WalMart and practically every fitness shop.

Hindu squats. Military push-ups.

Another good one:

1. Stand up straight
2. Put your hands down on the ground in front of you
3. With your weight supported by your hands, put your feet out so you are in a push up position
4. Do a push up
5. Bring your legs back to where they originally were
6. Stand up

And that is one repetition. Make sure to keep it a fluid motion. Doing these will really knock the wind out of you.
