Weight thread: I'm down another 2 lbs this week (12 lbs total in 4 weeks)

Well, week 3 is coming to a close and I am down another 2 lbs. I'm now at 222.

I'm feeling really good right now

Update - 9/9/2005

End of Week 4 and I'm down another 2, to 220 from 232.

Still going strong!

Can you be a bit more vague on the details or do you want a cookie for your efforts.
Whats your diet now and what was it before.Have you been doing any exercises or anything else to facilitate the weight loss?

I'm eating 6 small (healthy) meals a day and it's roughly 1800 calories a day. Other than that I walk about 5 miles a day (at work). That's it. Nothing more.

I'm going to start at the gym next week. I wanted to go 3 or 4 weeks of just changing my diet so I could get used to eating 6 small meals and not feel hungry.

Good effort. Looks like a good plan.

Eating only 1800 miles AND walking 5 miles a day is fantastic. Excellent job. I sure couldn't do either.

I just noticed your sig.

lol it's from that guy who claimed the masseuse gave him a handjob and let him finger her. I almost got fired from my job I was laughing so hard at that one

Did it go like this?? 😉
1) binge & purge
2) repeat

But seriously, good for you. Although it will get harder to lose now that you have lost so much.

Congrats! Weight loss is hard...just work hard at it, and don't expect huge changes in small amounts of time.

Keeping it off is hard, too. Just eat well and exercises. Make it a daily part of your life.

My other hobby is bodybuilding and that looks like a solid plan. Weight training is also very important as it will:

- Help you retain muscle which equals:

- Better appearance
- Faster metabolism (muscle runs hot)
