Does anyone know if you can order or get weight saver modules that fit in the optical drive so when you remove it to travel or whatever its not just an empty hole? Also the same type of thing for the battery
I have a IBM T40 and it would be nice if there was a standard battery but empty so when you keep it plugged in alot you could just swap that and it would be a lot lighter also.

For T40, you can find the travel module here. The web site is the official supplier for the pointing stick cap for IBM.
