Looks like my last post got erased by the way I phrased the title. Well I've been trying to gain weight and I've been eating more often than usual. As a result I've gotten frequent stomach aches and my stomach feels queesy at times. Is my stomach just trying to adjust to doing more work than usual?

I need to know because this is affecting my job!

Swallow an inflated regulation size basketball. You won't gain much weight, but you'll definitely look bigger.

Why don't you go workout with some heavy weights. Then you will definitely gain more mass.

You're gaining weight the wrong and unhealthy way IMO, if you are just cramming down anything you can get your hands on.

What are you eating?

Protein, carbs, and working out will make you bigger. I assume you don't just want to get
fat. I went from benching 60lbs (lol) to 150lbs in about a month by working out and
eating good, lean protein (soy is nice).

I also went from 170lbs to 204lbs (I'm 6ft 2in, so I'm not obese :) ) thanks to that and
candy....

LOL... deleting a thread because it discussed <GASP!!> #2!!! Oh God...

Anyway, in case you didn't see my post in your other thread. Your stomach aches could be related to your body trying to process more food than it's used to. Especially if you're not only eating more frequently but also larger portions.

It also has a lot to do with what you're eating. If you're eating greasy, high fat stuff then that would explain the cramping.

If it's too painful then cut down on what you're eating and how much and see if that doesn't help. If it keeps up you should talk to your Dr.

Lactose intolerance (as well as other food allergies) can cause cramping and abdominal pain so that's another reason to watch what you're putting in your mouth.

Are you lifting weights? I think that would be a better solution to gaining weight than stuffing tons of food in your mouth, but whatever works for ya.

Dude, when you work out your body WANTS more food. Ofcourse you're not supposed to stuff yourself. Listen to your body.

Besides, if you eat too much you can always vomit.

<< << yea but i cant build mass with no meat >>

yes you can... >>

i've seen skinny guys with really cut bodies and IMO it looks nasty! an example would be bruce lee. he's skinny and really cut up. it looks gross. i just want mass mainly and will tone it gradually. but that's not the main issue. i just wanna know if my frequent stomach aches are due to me eating more.

yeah the mods have something against taking dumps, cause every time a thread comes up discussing #2 activities it's locked, even if it's not a joke and a legit question. hmmmmm :Q

i know its unhealthy to gain weight really fast by food alone. i'm trying to pack at least 20 lbs before summer is over. i'm eating them fruit pies for breakfast and setting my alarm for a meal every 2 hr. yeah i know it's unhealthy but this seems to be the ONLY way that'll work for me. i've tried lifting a lot before and i probably put on 2 lbs in 3 weeks as compared to the 7-10 i put on in the last week and a half. and again i am still lifting and playing ball but just not often. probably once every 2-3 days.

I know kami... what's up with that? Maybe one of the mods has chronic constipation and gets jealous. ;)

Hoeboy... there's the answer to your question right there. Eating every 2 hours? That's excessive, man. Your poor digestive system--you're not giving it a break!

If I may ask, what's your hurry? Gaining 3 lbs. a week is pretty damn good.

Best go to a Dr, My reason for Gaining is not only performance but last year I was sick the same way, mine ended up being Very high levels of acid (I lost 25lbs), Zantec and Prevacid were too weak for me I got a stuff called aciphex, it's sometimes hard to get cause it's $3 a pill and insurance doesn't like to pay for it. But anyhow see what your Dr says. Try some Zantec for now since it's over the counter. but either way see a Doc.
