can i hook a video card wega t.v. i've heard that u can only hook it up to hdtv's to get the best picture. i've said it in the past im a dumb ass...thanks

you can plug a svideo cable into the back of the tv from the video card, i have done it to my wega with my rendition vertie

Yes. On a similar note, I hooked up the TV out on my radeon 9800 to my 27" WEGA and the left edge isn't straight at all. When watching TV the edges are all perfect, but the input adds about half an inch of black to each side, and the left side is quite noticably wavy. Any reason it should be doing this?

You can use component video if your card supports it. The newer XBRs have DVI, if I remember correctly.

so would i be better getting a hdtv to get the better picture? or would wega be alright? or would flat screen be alright with no problems?
