Weekly System Maintenance in XP?

What do the people of ATOT do to keep their computer running in good shape? I clear out all temp files, run adaware and defrag... just wondering if theres anything else people do that I'm missing.

i run adaware and spybot weekely. always make sure NAv is up to date along with the win updates. i defrag every 3 months or so

Not a damn thing. I wait for it to start acting up then format and reinstall 🙂.

Usually about once every 8-12 months.

Well I reformat about once a year.... but I want to keep it working good as long as psooible during that time....

Question

I run adaware.....should I also run Spybot? They do different things?

Format every major upgrade, or when the thing fcuks up royal.
Run ad-aware & regcleaner every 2 days.
Defrag every week.
Clean out HD (delete temp files, program caches, ect😉
Run AVG Anti-Virus every 2 weeks.
Update AVG Anti-Virus every day.
Update windows, via windows update every day.

As well as defrag and temp cleaning I do a registry cleaning every two weeks.
