It just sickens me to hear the TV & radio debates regarding the canceling of weekend sports. Folks, the only cheering we should do this weekend is for anyone who is rescued from the rubble.

Keep in mind though, the more this disrupts everything, the more the terrorist have accomplished their mission.

I am a big college sports fan yet it would sicken me to partake in joyous festivities during a tme or morning.

I agree that sports are secondary and I am glad they have been postponed. However, when we do restart them I think it will help with the healing process. I can hardly imagine the ovation the "Star-Spangled Banner" will receive when they play the next baseball games.

Look at it from another perspective. If they weren't cancelled then they would be calling us cold, heartless bastards. So what the hell do we care what they think they've accomplished. Their time is coming.

I feel we should be showing the world that the American spirit cannot even be dented, let alone crushed.

Perhaps this isn't the time to fill an outdoor stadium(or indoor for that matter) with Americans. There is nothing to suggest that there will not be a second tier attack on our country by these maniacs.
