I had my rear quarter windows resealed a couple months ago, both had pin hole leaks that eventually ruined my subwoofer baffles. I finally got time this weekend to install the speakers and terminal blocks.

Unfortunately the first thing I encountered was about 1" of water in my rear passenger floor board. One of the roads I went down yesterday had flooded and I was up to about my lower door edge. Seem to have came in though where a body plug was popped out...:( Anyway that was 4 hours of vacuum and using a dryer....I am leaving it open tonight hoping for less humidity tomorrow ...

Got the speakers and blocks back in, but then one of the terminals sheered...fortunately radio shack had them ($7 each though)...

Finished Project, they are nicer than my originals...I didn't paint the MDF last time, this time I put several coats of lacquer on...hopefully if it does get any water leaks in the future the wood will be ok. Even with our humidity here in S. Florida, it's probably best I painted them.

Hopefully next weekend I can put together my table saw finally.

is there an enclosure behind the sub or are you just using the sheet metal? if the back's not 'glassed in i would at least apply an extremely liberal amount of sound deadening in there.

and is that an image dynamics sub? looks like my ID12 with the logo blacked out.

ID10V3 D4...the labels fell off within the first week :) They look better without them IMHO.

That whole rear area probably has an average of 5 layers of second skin damplifier. It's well sealed. After I caulked the baffle to the body I applied more damplifier over the caulk joints.
