I came across a good deal on porsche sport exhaust mufflers last week, so I decided the wonderful 37degree chicago weekend weather was perfect to do some work.
What a clusterfuck; I ran out of latex gloves 30 minutes into it, so besides not having any skin left on my hands, I've conditioned my nails with a gallon of pb blaster. Broke 3 our of the 4 bolts that hold the mufflers brackets to the car. Broke both clamps that hold tips to the exhaust pipes. Had to dremmel through both vband clamps that hold tip pipes to the mufflers.
Current status:
I'm waiting for about 70 bucks in parts from porsche before I can put it back together. At least it ought to be warmer then...
