Well, I accomplished LOTS of yardwork. Finally got the pasture finished. (Grrrr, country people who dump stuff in their own yards.) Took me hours upon hours Saturday to get rid of the debris in what became the pasture.
Started the first mowing of the main pasture (still unfenced). Going to turn it into hay field or something eventually, but it had been let go for too many years and is full of goldenrod. It's going to take 3 or 4 mowings to get rid of the stuff. After 5 laps around the field (about half an hour), the belt to the blades on the riding mower broke.
Accomplished repairing it today though!
And, moved more stuff up from the old house (garage), including a huge rabbit hutch which is now temporarily the new turkey coop.
And fenced in an area for the chickens... and had a cookout... and made it to the dump with a huge load of stuff... and mowed the main lawn... and had my son finish putting in new closet doors and do some rewiring (6 foot wide louver doors instead of one door, 10 foot long closet.)
And, dozens of other minor things. Busy weekend, my body is tired.
