Hi ..
I am thinking of making the leap in the near future from K6-3 to Duron. Read an article at Overclockers.com that week 36 and later were missing pins, and that you had to solder, runnning 4 wires from the top of the cpu to the pin traces under the board. Can we not just connect the brides to make the Duron overclockable now?
Thanks for info.

Well the cut pins is true but I have yet to hear of anyone actually getting one of these durons yet. So if you hurry you can still get one that all you have to do is use a pencil to connect the golden bridges and overclock to your hearts delight. I just ordered a duron 600 from Buy.com on sunday. Got it yesterday and I got to 800mhz at default voltage yesterday. I have yet to try to go higher but I plan to once I get my new HSF and arctic silver.

My week 37 Duron has all its pins, so not all 36 & later are missing them.
