After RMA'ing my processor (Although I found out it was my A7v333 that was defective) either way I ended up getting a AMD Athlon XP 2200+ that was manufactured in week 30, previously I had one was week 15. The one Anand reviewed was also week 15 (See bottom picture on link below. AIRCA 0215; the 15 stands for week 15. These were the first T-bred's.)

My new T-bred is an AIRGA 0230. This means it was manufactured in Week 30, it is known the T-bred's manufactured on Week 22 or later overclock pretty well. Anyways, the 2600 and 2400 are week 31. Could my processor my a Revision B throughbred? Thanks

not likely

especially if your motherboard can identify the cpu... i dont know if you noticed, but all the reviews of the new revisionB have motherboards that dont identify the cpu "unknown cpu type" for example look at the first pic on the first page of the toms hardware review of the new tbred link

Probably not. AMD is just releasing the T-bred for mass production now, so it'll take a few weeks for them to reach the retail market. However, you can still try to overclock them and see how well it goes.

They would also probably have a new stepping for the 2200+ too. AIRGA is a common stepping.

Use wcpuid and look at the stepping ID. If it says 1 for standard and extended, it's the new core. If it says 0, then you suck. :p

Anyone know the cheapest you can get a new, retail 2200+ for right now? I got a guy with a couple he wants to sell for $130 each + $5 shipping. Pricewatch must be down right now, I can't check!!
