I've just finished an 80mm blowhole and a window on the side of my brother's case. It was pretty quick and I can't find that locking strip rubber moulding anywhere (even my local auto store) so it looks kinda jagged. Overall though I think I did a pretty good job my 1st time around. I may post pics soon.

If it's your little brother's case, I'd smooth or cover those jagged case edges fast. You could easily cut yourself on one of those. If you cut your case with a Dremmel there are smoothing attachments.
Be warned-- Once you start case modding you won't want to stop!
Do post those pics when you have a chance.
Good Luck!

Hes 16 years old :). Here are some piccies:

I'm waiting on my dad to pick up some velcro so I can put the plexiglass in. I think it turned out pretty good for my 1st mod. The black lining on the blowhole is fuel line chord. I couldn't find window moulding for the life of me (I searched Autozone AND Sears). It seems to work alright. There is going to be a grille over the top so that may mask a little. The stuff was $1.09 a foot so I only got 5 feet (thats why the window dosn't have moulding on it). What does everyone think?

PS: No i did not cut everything in my room. I just took the pic with the dremel in my room. I'm not an idiot :)

I have a question for you, why on earth are you doing this for your 16 year old brother.

I'm 14, built my own computer, cut a window in it (jigsaw), and am in the process of putting glossy black paint on it. (looks nice)

I just hope that you brother can, but rather, you owe him or something.

Well here is the back story:

My brother got the Klez virus. I tried a few things but I think it was too late. He ran a 600mhz P3 and instead of buying him a new computer my parents said I could order some things and build him a new machine. We've been through 4 machines. The last 2 machine, I asked if I could put them together. I knew how to do it and I knew we would save hundreds of bucks but my parents, being the parents that they are, thought I didn't know what I was doing and instead bought Dell... Anyways, I decided to scrap some thing from this box and put them in my brother's new computer. I ordered myself some new things, such as one of those Antec cases (the one everyone has) and I am planning on modding it a little (window on top, 120mm blowhole, rheobus, ect). This was basically practice for me, and because I felt like trying it. I'm pretty sure my brother will like it. His birthday is this week, maybe I can pass it off as a birthday present :)
