I have a Weedeater FL20 2 cycle 20cc that has given me nothing but problems since my sister gave it to me as a gift around 3 years ago. It would run, but only with the choke around 3/4-7/8 on. I did some searching and came across this thread: http://www.handymanwire.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=753842 ... its the 5th post.
Basically I followed the directions and cut two slits with my dremmel and was able to get a flat head in there to adjust the air/fuel mix. What a difference this made to a weed eater I thought was junk.
Technically you should a special tool to do the adjustment, but the dremmel methods works great. Apparently the FL20 I got was not set right out of the factory and from the post above it seems I'm not the only one with the issue. I would imagine this applies to most small 2 cycle motors as well.
