Came to just over 2000USD shipped. Scooped up the XFX today on Ebay for a bit more than I wanted, but I want this thing together before my spring semester starts.

I'll be using this with my second-gen Klipsch Promedia 4.1's, a 72GB external 1394 drive, and an SGI 1600SW 17" LCD.

Excitement I feel, yes.
 
Yeah, I'm also getting a Valman 7700Al cooling unit. Between that and the case I'm hoping to get up to that 2.5GHz mark (hence the DDR500 memory).

The monitor has aged really well, though after using the new Apple cinema displays the SGI is starting to show its age a bit, with resolution support, color quality, and viewing angle. Also has some quirks with playing interleaved video in widescreen resolutions that doesn't occur with an Apple display. Can't complain about the 1600x1024 native res in a 17" space and 16ms response time though!
