Maybe it's just me, but waking up at 4am just sucks, no matter how many cups of coffee you have ready and waiting for ya when you finally are alert enough to stumble downstairs to get it. So right off the bat things aren't going towards a super fantastic day.
Lil background, I'm a full time student who works a PT job. Getting my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science...hey AT hobbiest is turning into a career, which is a good thing . My PT job is that I do data entry and basic admin stuff around a small office, hey I know it's not a fun job, but better working at a burger joint and it's paying the bills and my way through school. So the boss guy knows what I'm going to school for so has now put the IT field in my job as well. I get paid $12.50 an hour, he has an IT company who has been dealing with all his IT needs, they charge him $100+ per hour. Fair? Well no, but not going to say anything because most jobs that I would be able to get are right around $8 an hour.
Ok, so present morning. He just bought two new laptops that he wants to start using and wants me to configure them with his network, set up VPN, transfer data and do everything you would need to do to make a new system up and running on a work domain and such. Lets go past the part where I've never done that sorta thing before and I'm kinda winging it. Today he brings me down his laptop and tells me that I had the resolution too high so he had to turn it down a bit so he could see it but he wants me to configure it because things aren't very crisp. I then tell him that laptops, well all LCDs should be ran at their native resolution. He then asks me what this native resolution means and I then explain it to him and tell him that he can change font size and enlarge all that stuff in the display properties. He then tells me that he already did because he lowered his resolution...
At that point I just stopped talking. Take note that I spent a good 5-10 minutes explaining it to him because I wanted to put things very very simple language for him. This kinda crap happens all the time, and I swear I just want to walk out the door every time!
So lemme as you guys this...do you think this happens because...
A.) I'm a college kid
or
B.) I'm a female
OR
c.) He just really needs a swift kick to the head
