So I'm getting married this September. My Fiancé and I have already spent hours registering at Bed Bath and Beyond. My question is, where is a good place to register for some electronics. Obviously a Core i7 is out of the question :( My question to my fellow ATers who have gone through this ordeal is... Where is a good place to register for, say, a nice small Vizio LCD TV, or even a pan set cheaper than Bed Bath and Beyond's inflated prices? I have looked at Amazon.com's service and it seems decent. Is there a better alternative? I want the registry to be accessible and reasonably easy to use for non tech types. Ideally, I'd like something that people will actually look at, rather than ignoring it and running to a B&M store. Comments are appreciated!!!!

Edit: just to clarify: my biggest concern is that an online registry will be ignored. Has anyone used one of these with success?

Not to sound like an asshole, but please tell me you're not talking about the Calphalon stuff. My wife and I cleaned up at BB&B for our registry, that 20% off coupon makes a big difference, and we managed to talk the manager into combining it with our 10% off coupon. The pots are freakin insane, very durable and worth every penny. Hell, my grandmother has had the same pans for decades ... And I'd say 80% of the people who buy your gifts get them at the last minute ... i.e. the morning of your wedding. Thus, things like BB&B rock - including their ability to take returns from another store if it's the same item.

Beyond that I refuse to enable your lazy ass any further.
Target: looked there, too expensive and not a lot of selection.
And I've done the research, thank you. Traditional B&M registries don't offer what I'm looking for, but I'm afraid to use an online service that the older folks in my family might ignore. I was looking for comments from people with experience using one of these service, not comments about laziness.

You don't sound like an asshole at all ;) Your comment is exactly what I was looking for. I think we're planning on sticking with an Allclad set for the pans, which is even more sickeningly expensive than Calphalon. Thanks for the info though. Pans that will last 50 years is exactly when we're after. BB&B offers a set, but Amazon offers the same thing cheaper. Can't really register for the set at both places, or we'll end up getting two. My biggest problem is BB&B simply doesn't offer things like TVs or a small radio, and some things are cheaper online. I'm just not sure the relatives will be willing to go online.

Well, if you get both, you can just return one to BB&B for the credit. I guarantee you won't get everything on your list and there will be some things you guys do want.
