1) Would it be weird to invite someone to your wedding who's been completely out of touch for 2-3 years now ? We used to be a big group of friends, but after college you know what happens - you just lose touch if you don't see each other or even write a hello email every couple of months. I only speak with a couple of them on a regular basis... should I invite all the others in the group ? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do it, but they may see the invite and say WTF is he thinking ... anyway, we were all good friends for 4 years.

2) Co-workers ... I've never met my manager in person in the 1.5 years I've worked for him (I work remote), but I speak to him almost everyday. Same goes for my "team lead". Would it be proper / should I invite them and their wives? They'd be coming from about 2-3 hours away.

Weird, but I'd go (as long as the others in the group do).

I think you invite everyone possible, while fully knowing that most wont show. Hopefully they send :gift:'s though.

I would def. include your boss and team leader. That is respectful and shows them you care about your job and those you work with.

As for friends...that can go either way. I only invited my current friends for the most part. If I hadn't seen someone in 2 or 3 years, they didn't get invited. It's just a wedding and, while it probably means a lot to you, most folks probably don't care.
