I travel a lot so I have zero equipment. The best I can do is use whatever may be available at a local park.

I'm often not around long enough to even do a monthly membership at a gym.

I liked when I did Crossfit back in the day and we would just get a WOD every day we reported to the gym. It's nice to just be told the exact exercises to do and how many reps and sets and so on. You come to the gym, see the WOD on the blackboard, stretch and warm up, do the WOD, done deal.

I guess that's what I'm looking for - a WOD generator, but with an input for available equipment. Every day the generator automatically emails you a different workout and... you do it.

I would imagine something like this could help save people the cost of gym memberships (Crossfit is at least $100 a month everywhere and usually more) and the work of figuring out how do effective workouts.

There are other workout generators on the web but they don't actually email you a new workout every day. There's extra work involved to go to the site, input your equipment, and generate a workout. It's more work, so requires more discipline, which I don't have.

I don't think such a website or tool exists.

What you could do is to generate the list of possible exercises for you to do yourself. Its fairly easy to get a list of what you can do with a barbell, dumbell, kettlebell etc. Then, with that list, divide them up by the muscle groups they target. In other words, if you do back and legs on one day, then put all of the back and legs exercises together. There should be more than you could do in a day.

Write them all down on a piece of card, or have them printed and laminated. When you do your workout, draw a card at random and do the exercise. Keep drawing cards and exercising until you feel you have finished your workout. This could help add some variety to your workouts.

Why don't you check out the mainsite's WOD and then scale it to whatever you have available? You can always do a different day's WOD as well.
