Websites: Invalid Certificate?

Ether in Explorer or in Firefox I get a message similar to this every few websites I enter. Is there any way to prevent this message from appearing all the time? I can always 'add exception' but its really annoying as I visit a lot of websites. An example of when this shows up: Going to Google, Gmail, ATI's website, Anandtech, etc etc etc.

Perhaps, I just formatted and did change the clock - I'm not sure if it was before or after the error - but most websites seem to be loading fine now. I actually had no idea that they were interconnected otherwise I wouldn't have wasted anyones time here on the forum 😉

Notice the error, its saying the cert your getting isnt valid UNTIL 2008 not it EXPIRED in 2008, hence the date question...
