wife does business on Amazon so she uses JungleScout.com and Alibaba.com.
these 2 websites work fine on my Windows 7, 64bit. all browsers.

on her Win8 laptop (64bit) and my Win8 tablet (32bit), JungleScout refuses to work. we tried different browsers too! after typing the account id and password, the browser icon would spin as if it is connecting, endlessly. but off course, it would never pass that login page. so i updated her win8 to win 10 and JungleScout works fine. BUT she cant login to her Alibaba account. she can view and search but can never login to view her inbox and chat with distributors. Alibaba hates win10 or something.

this is the first time i experience this issue and i cant find anything on google.

i installed VirtualBox.
so she's running Win10 natively while having Win7 in virtual as needed.
just bizarre that we have to resort to this on her laptop.

update.... this virtual box method does not work. i tried and didnt work as i thought it work.

If you install Firefox with a user agent extension, google on your win7 machine "what is my user agent" copy that string into her Firefox extension and see if it loads.

i did not know what user agent is until now. very cool. thanks!!!
strangely enough when i took the laptop to a friend's house, it was able to access alibaba.com, with windows 10. he said maybe it's because of my "pi-hole" blocking ads. but that cant be true because the desktop with win7 is on the same network. then when i got home, i was able to access alibaba on laptop's win10 without changing anything. very odd.
