I know I saw a website quite awhile ago where people could comment about what their current or former company was like. Anyone know of any resources like this?
Or better yet, does anyone work for Cerner or know someone who works for them?

Not personally but I've heard there good to work for. I know a guy who sells them A/V gear, he says they have cool stuff.
But I guess A/V isnt a good sign of being a good employer though.

I'm interviewing there and I've read some bad things on the web.
But like anywhere, there are always going to be disgruntled employees, so I'm looking for some more opinions. I know there was a site I saw like a year or two ago where you could look up a company and see postings from current or former employees. But I have no idea what site it is and I haven't been able to find anything on google.

I did find some of this kind of thing on vault.com.
But you have to pay to see the complete comments.
And I don't know about other companies, but cerner, for instance, only has one employees comments.

problem with looking for opinions online is that most people arent motivated to say something nice when they are happy, but will go out of their way to bitch when something sucks.

i have a close friend who works for cerner. they rode him HARD for the first 6 months. something about a "war room" and working long hours (+ saturdays and no overtime). the vibe i got from him was that they hired cheap labor right out of college, worked them till they burnt out and got new ones. BUT, my friend is insanely diligent and may have taken things very seriously and worked harder than necessary. that being said, he is much happier as of late. the war room is over, and now he is doing other stuff and actually managing some new employees (he has been there just about a year now). if you are still very interested pm me and i can try to get you his contact info.
