Website to test other Websites?

Howdy,

Is there a website I can go to and type in a different web address and have it check the site so I can verify if the site is down or if it's a problem with my local ISP?

Real world example is currently I can't get to www.everquest.com and I can't run the game. But nothing appears on most message boards so I woudl guess that the site si really up and I jsut can't get to it. But I want to test that before I start yelling at the RoadRunner people.

Even better would be a site that could test it going through various different ISP backbones and such too...
