I remember someone posted a link to this site where I can check for an AMD CPU info.
Anyone maybe of help here?

actually what I want is the page that allows me to key in a number that is on the die of the chip.
and it can give me information of the that particular chip

thanks the information does help me find out its FSB, cache, max temp and max volt. But it doesn't show the Mhz 🙁

this is referring to an AMD Thunderbird

Yeah, I know the site you are referring to. I used to post a link to it here often. But that site disappeared (went down for a long time?) some time ago and I eventually deleted it from favorites. Too bad, it was handy.

yup. I had it to my favorites too, and then after changing to the Raptor, I erased the old OS.. sigh

forgot to back up everything

Are you talking about the site that purportedly let you check the "original" Mhz of the CPU?

That was complete BS, and a lot of people fell for it. Those numbers were just date/lot production codes. No CPU maker would be stupid enough to print both the binned speed and the marketed speed, both directly on the outside of the CPU.

I'm glad to hear that the site is gone, it was doing nothing but spreading misinformation.
