website to buy surfboard?

anyone know of a website that sells good surfboards at good prices?

I'm checking out the ron jon surf shop website but i'm if there's something better i can get.

I don't know much about surfboards.

shipping on a surfboard seems like it'd be expensive due to the item's size.... at least they're relatively light though.

If you live in Southern CA, i highly recommend Sauritch surfboards. They are awesome boards and priced really well. I paid only $280 for mine a couple years ago. The shaper's a really nice guy. Link to the website

Buying a surfboard online is a bad idea, it'd be like buying a used car over the internet. It's something you should look at before you buy.

first of all if you're starting out you should buy a used surfboard. Make sure it is water tight with no delam. Or better yet borrow one from a friend. the run $300 plus new so who knows if you'll like the sport or not and you don't want to throw $300 down the drain
