website for state of the art custom lcd panels ?

Anyone know the website for a company that in England or France or something that does customize lcd monitors. LIke they make custom state of the art panels for lcd monitors.

Only big companies in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea make panels and they're commodity products. At most, a company can make a custom mount but that's about it. The closest thing I've seen to a custom LCD panel is the IBM rotogen (sp?) screens.

Im talking about the lcd monitors such as the one from Hercules, the Prophetview. Those look like state of the art, they look nice aren't they? so im sure you guys know what I'm talking about. And I know that anand did post a website about a compmany that do custom lcd monitors here.

lol, what do you mean by " look like state of the art"? i get the impression you are just after a fancy looking monitor eh?

oh and i'm pretty sure that hercules just rebadges other peoples stuff.

Yeah, it depends on what you mean by "custom". I wouldn't consider the Hercules custom. Custom would be more along the lines of "I need a 16" LCD capable of 1600x1200 in a marine housing". Are you just looking for a nice LCD? If so there are a number out there. Or do you actually want/need a sutom one? In other words do you want one built to your own specs? If so its not going to be cheap. And depending on what your specs are it may not be possilble.
