Website for building pcs?

I am looking for a website that can explain how to build a PC by putting different components together. I am a newbie to all of this so some sort of introduction to it might help a lot.

A little old, but here. Also, if you have problems, the people in the general hardware forum are nice. Before you do any thing, read your motherboard manual front to back. Do you have a budget ?

Exactly, I want to make a PC that I can expand according to my needs. Right now I have a Dimension whoich is very good but I can only mount two hard drive and two Cd/DVD drives. ALso there are only 2 RAM slots which is way too less. In addition, the PC needs to get a lot faster than it is right now.

The AMD 64 is a great idea but I dont know which applications specifically make use of it. This will be my fun machine, games. movies, surfing etc etc. I have a fairly good idea of which graphics card, hard drive, DVD drives etc to use but when it comes to mother boards and cases I am a complete newbie. So right now I am looking at cases and compatible chips for it.
