I'm working on a website for a national security class (website instead of paper) and I just want some constructive feedback. I'm not looking at making this site uber fancy or complex, just simple and effective.

I know that I need to shrink the top image drastically, mainly because the timeline page is where things really get cluttered at the top.

the drop shadow on the links bugs me. also, the color scheme needs to be overhauled.

Either the background color or the bold text bothers my eye. I dont which it is...........

I suggest rollover effects for the links to make them more obvious. Otherwise it looks like hot spots on an image.

I agree...halfway through the issues page, in the Social Structures: Chechnya, "medical" and "neutrality" are separated

Looks like we jumped in the wayback machine for a visit to 1997. Image maps and everything.

I'm no web expert...I have dreamweaver and photoshop without manuals...but I can do rollover images.
