Website Feedback Needed...

[Rip the Jacker]

Hello...

I'm seeking feedback for the website I'm currently making (and almost done with it). My client is choosing the colors/textures and I'm producing them.
Yeah, It's in RUSSIAN but we can ignore the text and look at the colors/layout/size.

Give me any tips on color, layout, textures (in the background and banner). Good or bad just post it here. If there are any problems post them as well.

By the way, I'm not sure what to do about the background. The texture is annoying and I'm looking to change it with something else. Diagonal Lines or something. Anyone have any tips?

The background seems too noisy to me.. maybe change to something more neutral? Overall :thumbsup:

Edit: Oh.. what's up with the random graphics on the top banner? I'd say expand the world map so that the red spot is more visible.. I would get rid of the two dudes on the left

The country is Kyrgyzstan. Those "2 dudes" are actually an old man playing some instrument and a young woman. The arrows and sun represent the mountains and sun because Kyrgyzstan has lots of Mountains. The red dot represents the country in a world map.

I'm aware that the pics do represent some important things, but the way it's spread out around just seems too random.. and it really is too small.. just some constructive criticism

Gave it a 3 for being nice, but not awe inspiring or unique. It was quite illegible though.

I like it other than the length. My preference is to see a bottom of a page with << 2 - 4 >> instead of scroll that long. But it could be just me. I voted a 4.

i dont like the banner colors but the website is set up pretty straight-forward and in a standard fashion. so...take that for what it is. i cant read a damn thing on it, but im guessing you want a pretty standard looking page. some people want something super-unique but most people want something a tab bit more professional (ie: tested)
i actually like the two little dudes. make me happy. i, too, was confused by the red dot placement and since im working of a super-huge screen, the dotted background is horrific. lines might work better. perhaps a larger pattern would help it out.
as for banner color, id try something that went more softly with the boomerang thingies and the blue/gray on the top and bottom. just something less neon, even, in the same shades would probably look good.

yeah. i'm still debating on the background texture. client wants to use dotted type. i want to use diagonal lines. i think they're better IMO. thanks for the input.

Clean looking site. I think that maybe a washout map of Kyrgyzstan or a washout picture of the flag might look nice. Btw 3 for clean appearance but not very awe inspiring.
