Fuck, that site is depressing.

a truly depressing site would be one that followed up on all those cases that showed all those cops got away with those crimes.

...or a site that listed all the crimes that cops committed that were covered up and never even came to light in the media

Good thing our tax dollars employ all these assholes so they can also be sure to write us tickets while we try to go to work.

this comment reminds me of one time when i was in walnut creek ca traffic court and there was a guy there who had gotten a ticket for littering when a plastic bag got sucked out of his sunroof. the cost of the ticket: $450. it turned out the guy was unemployed as well. guvmint gotta git payd!

Money has to come from somewhere. You don't expect the rich to pay for the poor do you? Hell no! Its another money making proposition for them. Crime went down 25%, and expenses went up 500%. Don't you wish your salary went up that fast?

the amount spent on cops/prison guards/courts in this country is ridiculous. in san francisco every year they post cop salaries in the paper and every year there are beat cops that have figure out a way to scam $500,000 a year out of the taxpayers by doing overtime. prison guards in ca make like $125,000. with crooks like that on the payroll no wonder government is going bankrupt

Blame your California cost of living. The guards want to be middle class, they need 125k to do it.

Right now with the country bankrupt you bet your ass I'd rather have it the other way around. Some 25% of all those dangerous prison inmates are potheads! If the damn government would focus on the dangerous criminals and all the white collar crime (such as hiring 13 million illegal aliens) that cost taxpayers big bucks I might agree that its worth it.

The problem is it takes real police work and real investigations to bust white collar and dangerous criminals, picking up potheads is easy.

So you're saying we're paying outrageous money for lazy and incompetent cops. I disagree. The American people demanded the War on Drugs, they demanded the War on Crime, they demanded the War on Terrorism, and now they are demanding the War on the American people.
