I actually like the old look. The new one's just a little too sparse for me. Maybe add some background behind the thumbnails?
 
add the drop shadow from the thumbnails on the newer one to the thumbnails on the first-- and keep the layout of the first-- and its golden.

btw-- i think you've done a great job with that site--- really does look great.
 
I think I like the old look better as well...something about the blue bar running the entire length of the screen in the second design that just doesn't sit well with me.
 
Both are pretty nice, but the new one's a little sleeker, and I'm always one for "elegance through simplicity".
 
Well for all the people that like the old one: It's going to stay up while I continue to develop the new one. And, I'm using the new one to develop the skinning system for the site, so that when the new one is done, so will skin support, and you'll be able to select a skin that pretty closely matches the old one, if you prefer it 🙂

They're both script based.
 
I like the older one notfred because, navigation is a bit easier for me.

In the newer version, you have to go to the top every-time for drop-down menu's choices like you do w/ OS X 🙁

W/ the older look, you didn't have to move the mouse around too much to make your selection 🙂

Heh, I felt the opposite, I was tired of scrolling to the bottom of the page to navigate, I thought it was faster to never have to scroll down to get to the navigation stuff. 🙂

They have some really nice designs and CSS based designs as well.
 
I like the new one better because,

a) the navigation feels better, more centralized. Everything is built into the top bar, like a piece of software
b) there is less wasted space
 
overall, i like the old look more. although the newer one has a cleaner interface with the title/menu bar running across the top it seems more like the white spaces are a waste of space. maybe if you could put more pictures per page on the newer interface that would be better.
 
I think you should put the menu at the top of the old one, like the new one has. Keep the blue bars though, and don't make it at the very top.
