Website as desktop?

Anyone use this feature in WinXP/2k? I just set it to display my listings on tvguide.com. There aren't any security risks or anything are there? I don't want my b0x0r to be h4x0r3d.

I used to use active desktop but I showed my own webpage that I made that showed updated news topics and such but I don't htink there is anything to be worried about

Hmm... Maybe I should make such a page. I wonder if there is a way to filter the ads and other garbage and just have the listing table...

hmmm not sure

you can always just make it part of your screen (not the full desktop) and make it to where just the listing part is showing...

for the news thing websites have a special code output (called RSS) that takes all the most recent news headlines and makes it easy to be able to output them into simple text.... its kinda complicated but very cool.


I also think the most recent version of CoolMon has TV Guide listings but I may be mistaken
