Does anyone have any idea how many hits a day this 'server' would be able to handle/day

P133
16mb ram
2.6K rpm HD
linux (without a GUI)
apache
MySQL
40KB/s upstream connection

looking at the specs I doubt that it would even run all that stuff, but since I need a small server and have this box lying aroud...

Hmm.. i'm not sure about it. But i have a *small* server here as well. It's a K63-450, 13gb drive, 128mb RAM. It's doing WWW/Mail/FTP and DNS. It's also my workstation.

It's not that trafficked but it's handled approx. 415,000 hits in a quarter on the WWW service alone. Mail is doing around 150 messages/hour and the DNS is servicing around 3000 requests/day

Take note that it's also my workstation so it's pretty tasked the way it is but it never seems to go beyond the 20% CPU utilization (unless of course i'm watching a DVD or doing some Photoshop work)

You could probably base your performance on this.
